Most WFA Fencers who want to become competitive, or who advance beyond beginning and intermediate classes, benefit greatly from private fencing lessons. We have a team of qualified instructors and coaches who provide students with private instruction.

Lessons often take place during or before open fencing times, but they can also be scheduled at other times directly with the instructor.

Rates for private lessons vary among our coaches, depending on their backgrounds, your interests and levels, and other factors (see below), and are subject to change. Each coach can guide you in this area, or feel free to speak directly with our head coach, Atilio Tass, and he can guide you on the coach and program best for you or your child.

Please note that Private Lessons are billed separately from, and in addition to, your regular monthly membership plan. If you find you can not make it to your scheduled lesson, please provide 24 hour notice. You will be charged for your lesson if you do not show up or fail to provide sufficient notice.
